Utilities

Utility Services at the Hynes are designed to support every exhibitor and service vendor need. Utilities are accessed through columns and floor boxes. Convenient connections facilitate last-in, first-out exhibitors. Our trained support staff is here to assist with any special needs.

 

Electrical Service

Electrical service includes 120v, 208v, and 480v, single- and three-phase electrical service of various amperages--ranging from 15 to 400 amps--throughout the exhibit halls. Overhead service is available in Halls A, B, and C. 24-hour power is available in all locations.

 

Plumbing and Compressed Air Service

Plumbing and compressed air service enables the Hynes to supply air to most areas of the exhibit halls at approximately 110 PSI. A variety of compressed gasses are also available.

 

Water and Drain Service

Water and drain service includes lines with up to 1 inch--approximately 110 PSI--to fill and drain water and supply drain lines--up to 3 inches--to most areas of the exhibit halls.

The Boston Convention Marketing Center is a joint effort of the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority to market and sell the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center.
